Meet the owner
Stan Wood started his career as a recording engineer back in 1997 at Chicago Trax, famously known for producing hundreds of recordings for countless industrial bands of the 1980s & 1990s. Over the decades Stan has recorded, mixed, and mastered albums for all kinds of musical genres including industrial, punk, gothic, metal, indy, R&B, electronic, acoustic, jazz, and singer-songwriters. He has worked with everyone from multi-platinum-selling artists to local musicians on their first venture into the professional studio. He knows that different styles of music call for different production styles. He has a talent for creating the right sonic space and aesthetic for every artist he works with and will not rest until your music sounds the way YOU intended.
Oh and did we mention that Stan is an electrical engineer, who builds and modifies recording gear? After years in the music business he went back to school for his EE degree, specifically to learn how to design and build recording equipment. Crazy? Maybe. Bona fide audio nerd? Yeah!
